Join AECOM’s vibrant Nature team as the Associate Director - Major Projects Ecology Lead, where you will spearhead ecology services for significant infrastructure projects across the UK and Ireland. As the ecology lead for high-profile initiatives, including Development Consent Order (DCO) schemes, you will manage technical outputs, oversee reporting, and advocate for ecological advice to clients, project teams, and stakeholders under relevant planning frameworks.
Supported by a dedicated ecology team, you will orchestrate multidisciplinary collaborations to achieve successful project outcomes. Your responsibilities will encompass client engagement, project bidding, delivery oversight, and mentoring of ecology team members. You will represent AECOM in meetings, site visits, and stakeholder discussions, driving innovation and excellence within ecological consultancy.
