About the Nutrition Team
The Nutrition Program oversees Evidence Action’s Deworm the World and Iron and Folic Acid Supplementation initiatives.
Evidence Action’s Deworm the World (DtW) is an exceptionally impactful program, having facilitated over 2.2 billion treatments for intestinal worms in children since 2014. DtW provides technical assistance to governments to ensure the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective, and sustainable programming.
Evidence Action’s Equal Vitamin Access (EVA) program is a remarkably efficient initiative that aids governments in administering iron and folic acid (IFA) treatments to over 27 million children annually, combating iron deficiency anemia, a leading factor in global malnutrition and disability.
As an Associate, you will report to the Senior Program Manager and be integral in supporting the DtW programs in Tanzania and Malawi, the EVA program in Malawi, and broader initiatives with the Global DtW team, including exploring potential programmatic expansions across Africa and Asia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist teams in Tanzania, Malawi, and Pakistan by providing analytical support and facilitating data-driven decision-making that informs programmatic planning, systems-building, administrative tasks, implementation projects, and monitoring & evaluation of our deworming and IFA supplementation programs.
