About the Role
As the Associate Operations Manager for the Service Operations team in the Phoenix market, you will lead a dynamic group of experienced and new technicians. Your primary focus will be to maximize uptime and support our fleet utilization objectives. This is an onsite role, requiring 100% in-office presence, and you will report to the Operations Manager, Service within DoorDash Labs.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote a culture of safety within the Service Operations team.
- Lead and mentor a team of technicians to ensure the highest operational uptime.
- Collaborate with Service Engineering to identify tooling and jig requirements for field deployments of new technologies.
- Monitor technician productivity to optimize resource utilization.
- Ensure compliance with Service Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), including management of Work Orders and Parts at the local level.
- Support the professional development of Service Technicians, providing pathways for career advancement within DoorDash Labs.
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and address any variances.
- Maintain accountability for the uptime of all tools and equipment supporting the Service Operations.
Flexibility to work nights or weekends may be required to oversee and support the team.
