At Tanium, our Associate Technical Support Engineers play a critical role in ensuring customer satisfaction by effectively resolving technical issues and addressing inquiries in a timely manner. This position blends reactive support with proactive enhancements to the customer experience while utilizing your technical skills and building new ones in areas like scripting and debugging. You will report directly to a Global Support Manager.
Work Arrangement: This role adheres to our hybrid work schedule, requiring in-office presence at either our Bellevue, WA or Emeryville, CA locations for at least three days a week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist customers by:
- Triaging inbound support requests
- Resolving customer support cases
- Collaborating with fellow Support Engineers on their cases
- Responding to user inquiries on the Tanium community site
- Enhance customer experience by:
- Documenting best practices
- Tracking activities, documenting root causes, and reporting findings
- Acting as a technical subject matter expert, particularly in testing and troubleshooting
