Join our dynamic team at Rodeo FX as an Audio-Visual and IT Support Technician! You will play an integral role in assisting our IT department in providing support to artists and VFX production teams. Under supervision, you will contribute to workstation setup, basic troubleshooting, request tracking, and equipment installation.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Support
Receive and document assistance requests using our ticketing system.
Conduct initial diagnostics on simple hardware and software issues (network connections, peripherals, account access).
Escalate complex incidents to the Service Desk team.
Maintain communication with users regarding ticket updates and solutions.
Assist with the configuration, installation, and troubleshooting of audio-visual and electronic equipment, as well as networking and distribution systems.
Help inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain equipment continuously, ensuring preventive maintenance and addressing encountered issues.
Workstation Setup
Assist in preparing and configuring workstations for new artists (basic installation of Windows/macOS/Linux).
Follow internal procedures for software deployment.
Verify network connectivity and peripherals (monitors, tablets, audio).
Installation Assistance
Support the team during internal relocations: simple connections, basic network cabling, and installation of monitors and peripherals.
Keep workspaces organized and secure during reconfigurations.
Post-Production Support
Assist in preparing screening and review rooms (connections, screens, basic calibration).
Monitor the proper functioning of stations during internal sessions.
On-Call Support
Adhere to emergency management procedures (no direct intervention without supervision).
Document incidents encountered during off-hours support for learning purposes.
