Your Role and Responsibilities
As an AV Systems Engineer, you will play a vital role within a renowned technology organization, embodying the FIRST brand. You will oversee the health and functionality of audio, video, lighting, IT, and experiential systems at a world-class venue. This position demands strong leadership, project management skills, effective communication, and adept troubleshooting of intricate technical systems.
Your Key Contributions
- Lead the commissioning of advanced audio, video, lighting, IT, and experiential systems in a premier venue.
- Ensure all systems and equipment are calibrated, configured, and installed for optimal operation from day one.
- Develop and implement SOPs to maximize efficiency and utilization of AV systems.
- Guide a team of skilled engineers in maintaining and optimizing systems for daily event production needs.
- Monitor and manage break-fix and project request tickets, assigning appropriate engineering resources to minimize downtime.
- Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all production technology issues within the facility.
- Provide high-level technical support to resolve complex issues related to audio, video, IT, media management, digital signage, signal encoding, and broadcasting.
- Establish and execute a preventative maintenance plan to ensure the reliability of all event technology equipment and systems.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all facility equipment and systems.
