Qualifications
Responsibilities:Lead and manage audit engagements from inception to completion.Supervise, mentor, and review the work of audit staff and seniors.Act as the primary point of contact for clients and manage audit relationships.Review workpapers and financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance.Identify, address, and resolve accounting and audit issues while ensuring regulatory compliance.Contribute to the enhancement of audit processes and assist in business development initiatives.Qualifications:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting.Active CPA certification is required.5+ years of experience in public accounting audit.Previous supervisory or management experience is essential.In-depth knowledge of GAAP and GAAS.Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office (experience with CaseWare or CCH is a plus).Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.Authorized to work in the U.S.Preferred Experience & Skills:Expertise in auditing nonprofit, privately held, and publicly traded organizations, including 401(k) plans.Experience with mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, startup funding, single audits, and FDOT audits.
