Qualifications
What you’ll be doing:Oversee the safe movement of vehicles in and out of the Inspection Center for repairs, consistently achieving or surpassing production and quality benchmarks.Ensure daily, weekly, and monthly inventory production goals are met or exceeded.Manage daily operations of your assigned team; assess strengths and weaknesses, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement actionable strategies.Engage and coach your team, fostering their development and managing performance; provide constructive feedback and exemplify desired skills.Promote a work environment that encourages open communication, teamwork, and adherence to Carvana's core values.Communicate proactively with team members, clarifying expectations, performance metrics, and objectives.Address and resolve conflicts among team members effectively.Ensure compliance with established systems, policies, procedures, and performance standards.Review and approve the identification of mechanical and physical defects in incoming inventory.Collaborate with the Inspection Center General Manager to make informed decisions regarding the repair or rejection of inventory based on repair costs and overall vehicle quality.Conduct training sessions for new hires and ongoing training for existing staff.
