Your Role: Automation Engineer
As an Automation Engineer, you will be instrumental in developing and managing the systems that enhance visibility and actionability of quality across XBOW. Your responsibilities will include maintaining and evolving the infrastructure that supports automated testing across teams, operating a comprehensive QA environment with realistic web applications and security frameworks, and analyzing test results to generate insightful defect reports for feature teams. You will regularly evaluate quality indicators such as code coverage, test results, and reliability metrics, transforming them into dashboards that guide release decisions and strategic planning. A key aspect of your role will involve collaboration with fellow engineers to provide testing data and environments that enhance the developer experience and working with teams early in the design phase to ensure features are testable, observable, and resilient before deployment.
What You Will Do:
Create and manage the infrastructure that facilitates automated testing across technical teams.
Take ownership of a continuous, full-system QA environment, comprising a diverse array of realistic web applications and the necessary network security architecture.
Conduct thorough defect analysis for reporting to feature teams, incorporating automated tools to enhance the detail of bug reports.
Develop company-wide quality dashboards and reporting systems that inform release strategies and future planning.
Provide comprehensive code coverage analysis from unit tests and integration tests.
