Your primary responsibilities will include:
Validating application firmware for variable speed drives by executing manual test cases and verifying performance with client applications such as pumps, lifting systems, and ventilation.
Conducting integration tests for variable speed drives with PLCs.
Testing interoperability through various industrial fieldbus systems (IA Fieldbus).
Collaborating and communicating in English with teams located in India, China, and Vienna.
Providing decisive feedback on test results.
Ensuring end-to-end traceability of tests back to the specifications.
Creating and tracking identified defects.
Contributing to the analysis and resolution of detected issues.
Performing application performance testing and measurement.
Developing and maintaining a suite of deliverables for internal and external use, including demos, videos, and documentation.
Ensuring the accumulation of knowledge and expertise.
Contributing to the design of new test benches in collaboration with project stakeholders.
Supporting the software validation manager in defining the testing plan and strategy.
Contributing to the continuous improvement of the laboratory.
Participating in the strategy for new technologies and their deployment.
Keeping abreast of technological advancements and conducting competitive analysis, while ensuring the accumulation of knowledge and expertise.
