Key Responsibilities:Oversee the safe movement of vehicles into and out of the Inspection Center for repairs, ensuring production and quality goals are consistently met or exceeded.Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly inventory production targets.Manage day-to-day operations of the assigned team; assess strengths and weaknesses; identify improvement opportunities and implement effective solutions.Engage and mentor team members, providing coaching, performance management, and constructive feedback.Create a positive work environment that fosters communication, teamwork, and adherence to Carvana's values.Effectively communicate expectations, performance criteria, and operational goals to team members.Address and mediate conflicts among team members proactively.Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and performance standards.Evaluate and approve identified mechanical and physical defects of incoming inventory.Lead a team of production associates and collaborate with the Inspection Center General Manager to assess inventory quality and repair needs.Facilitate training and development for team members, promoting skill enhancement and career growth.

Position Overview: The Automotive Detail Team Lead is a key supervisory role responsible for directly managing and developing a team of hourly associates within our Inspection Center to consistently meet production targets. This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
