Automotive Loan Processor / Finance Assistant: Join our dynamic team at Murgado Automotive and play a key role in streamlining customer documentation for vehicle sales. Your expertise will ensure all financial transactions are processed smoothly and efficiently.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Your essential responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Accepting cash, checks, and credit card payments from customers and accurately recording transactions.
- Providing customers with change and official receipts.
- Organizing dealership forms, records, reports, and correspondence within the appropriate filing system.
- Cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with finance sources, including manufacturers.
- Processing finance and lease agreements accurately to secure customer approvals.
- Issuing refunds or credit memos as directed for returned items.
- Collaborating with department managers to stay updated on new products, features, and pricing changes.
- Completing necessary paperwork for vehicle sales and leases efficiently and accurately.
- Verifying all paperwork for correct title, lien information, taxes, etc., before submission to accounting.
- Maintaining a current state insurance license and completing required continuing education.
- Assisting customers by answering inquiries regarding services or products or directing them to the appropriate personnel.
- Ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and dealership regulations related to vehicle transactions.
- Verifying customer insurance requirements and ensuring collection of finance and insurance fees.
- Processing all credit applications and maintaining an adequate supply of necessary contracts and paperwork for finalizing vehicle deals.
- Upholding ethical and professional standards in all dealings.
- Providing clerical and secretarial support to various departments as needed.
- Maintaining a professional appearance and a tidy work environment.
- Performing additional duties as assigned.
