Key Responsibilities:
Conduct metallurgical testing to evaluate material structure, hardness, case depth, and additional tests as needed.
Ensure all testing adheres to specified standards and is completed efficiently to meet production targets.
Analyze test results, compare them against specifications, prepare detailed reports, and approve materials that meet the required criteria.
Communicate test results promptly to the metallurgical lab supervisor and plant management.
Maintain and develop charts and reports for sediment and metallurgical processes.
Follow all protocols outlined in the Global Manufacturing System.
Demonstrate problem-solving abilities during manufacturing processes.
Safely operate lab equipment, perform routine preventative maintenance, and report any operational issues to management.
