Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct metallurgical testing to assess material structure, hardness, case depth, and other necessary evaluations.
- Ensure all testing adheres to specified guidelines and is completed promptly to meet production targets.
- Analyze test results in comparison to specifications, compile reports, and authorize materials based on established criteria.
- Effectively communicate findings to the metallurgical lab supervisor and plant management.
- Maintain and develop charts and reports related to sediment and metallurgical processes.
Compliance and Safety:
- Adhere to all Global Manufacturing System protocols and procedures.
- Utilize problem-solving skills effectively during manufacturing operations.
- Safely operate lab equipment, perform regular preventative maintenance, and report any equipment issues to management.
