As an Automotive Service Advisor at Brakes Plus, you will report directly to the Store Manager and play a pivotal role in establishing exceptional standards of service excellence while embodying our core values. You will foster a highly motivated team atmosphere and collaborate closely with the Service Team to enhance their performance. Your efforts will include hands-on mentoring and executing store processes, all while ensuring we continue to deliver a customer experience that leads the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage directly with customers in sales, service, and resolving customer inquiries and adjustments.
- Cultivate a positive and motivated team environment.
- Supervise technicians and service staff, plan and schedule their tasks, assign work, and ensure timely completion.
- Coach service department teammates on various operational aspects.
- Evaluate performance and productivity within the service department.
- Manage parts inventory, including restocking and outside purchases as necessary.
- Oversee safety protocols and ensure compliance with safety equipment usage and maintenance.
- Maintain an organized layout of equipment and hardware within the service department.
- Conduct proper inspections and ensure all safety procedures are followed.
