As an Automotive Service Advisor at Brakes Plus, you will be a key player in delivering exceptional service and operational excellence. Reporting directly to the Store Manager, your role will involve fostering a motivated team environment, collaborating closely with the Service Team to enhance their performance. Your hands-on approach will be essential in developing team members, executing store processes, and ensuring we maintain our reputation for providing an industry-leading customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with customers in sales and service, addressing their needs and opportunities.
- Foster a motivating team environment that encourages excellence.
- Oversee technicians and service staff, planning, scheduling, and ensuring timely completion of tasks.
- Provide coaching and guidance to the service department on operational matters.
- Assess the performance and productivity of all service personnel.
- Manage parts inventory and outside purchases, ensuring timely restocking of in-house parts.
- Promote store safety, including proper use and maintenance of safety equipment.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures in the shop area and equipment.
- Conduct thorough inspections to maintain high service standards.
