As the Automotive Service Advisor, reporting directly to the Store Manager, you will play a pivotal role in upholding our commitment to excellence and embodying our core values. Your mission will be to foster a motivated team environment and collaborate closely with the Service Team to enhance their performance. By actively engaging on the shop floor, you will mentor team members, streamline store processes, and ensure we consistently deliver an exceptional customer experience that sets us apart in the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage directly with customers, addressing their needs in sales, service, and adjustments.
- Foster a dynamic and motivated team climate.
- Oversee technicians and service personnel, organizing their responsibilities, assigning tasks, and ensuring completion.
- Guide service department teammates through operational challenges.
- Evaluate the performance and productivity of all service department staff.
- Manage parts inventory and coordinate outside purchases, ensuring timely updating and restocking of in-house parts.
- Prioritize store safety, including the proper use and maintenance of safety equipment.
- Supervise equipment layout and adherence to safety procedures in the service department.
- Ensure thorough inspections are conducted as per standards.
