Duties & Responsibilities:
· Inspire, mentor, and lead the service team to deliver exceptional customer service and meet departmental objectives.
· Direct daily service operations, encompassing scheduling, workflow management, and staffing.
· Perform regular performance evaluations and offer constructive feedback to promote continuous improvement.
· Guarantee the highest levels of customer satisfaction by proactively addressing concerns, resolving issues, and maintaining effective communication.
· Design and implement service initiatives that enhance customer experience and foster loyalty.
· Monitor and evaluate service department productivity, efficiency, and quality standards.
· Analyze service metrics and KPIs to identify improvement opportunities and execute corrective actions.
· Develop and oversee the service department budget, including labor, parts, and supplies.
· Enhance profitability by optimizing service operations and promoting additional services and products.
· Collaborate closely with other departments, including sales and parts, to ensure seamless operations and maximize customer satisfaction.
· Ensure adherence to all company policies, procedures, and industry regulations.
Qualifications:
· Demonstrated experience as a Service Manager or in a comparable leadership role within the automotive service sector.
· Comprehensive understanding of automotive service operations, including repair processes, parts management, and customer service.
· Outstanding leadership and team management skills with an emphasis on employee development and motivation.
· Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving capabilities.
· Strong organizational skills and the ability to effectively multitask in a dynamic environment.
· High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in Automotive Technology, Business Management, or a related field is preferred.
· Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
· Familiarity with dealership management systems (DMS) and automotive repair software.
