We are seeking a skilled Automotive Systems Diagnostic and Troubleshooting Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will independently diagnose and repair electrical systems in vehicles, while also creating high-quality content for guided troubleshooting. Your expertise in gasoline and diesel systems, as well as comfort and safety systems, will be essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostics on electronic, mechanical, and electrical systems in vehicles using various testing tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Identify Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC) and analyze the generated error codes.
- Conduct comprehensive vehicle testing, including individual component evaluations.
- Utilize your strong understanding of wiring diagrams, wire color codes, connectors, and automotive system functionalities.
- Document detailed records of system tests, removal and refit procedures, and outcomes for future reference.
Essential Skills:
- Proficiency in automotive testing equipment such as OBD-II scanners, multimeters, and oscilloscopes.
- Knowledge of OE testers and descriptions, as well as OBD-II standards.
- Experience in guided troubleshooting methodologies.
Preferred Skills:
- Understanding of DIN standards in wiring diagrams.
- Familiarity with high voltage (HV) and electric vehicle (EV) systems.
