THE ROLE
We are on the hunt for a proactive and experienced Automotive Workshop Manager to lead the operations of our new in-house workshop located in Marcon. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating a team of skilled mechanics, prioritizing repair tasks, managing inventory and spare parts, and ensuring budget compliance, all while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?
Team Management:
- Oversee and coordinate the daily operations of a team of mechanics, including scheduling, task assignments, and performance evaluations.
- Provide hands-on training and mentorship to foster skill development and adherence to company standards.
- Encourage a collaborative and positive workplace culture.
Workshop Operations:
- Plan and prioritize maintenance and repair tasks for campervans to minimize downtime.
- Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure quality and compliance with safety regulations.
- Serve as the main point of contact for complex technical issues or escalated repairs.
Inventory and Spare Parts Management:
- Monitor inventory levels of tools, spare parts, and consumables to ensure operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with suppliers for timely procurement and negotiate favorable purchasing agreements.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and implement cost-control measures.
