- Conduct and enhance Autonomous Maintenance procedures, including inspections, monitoring, and executing minor repairs on the assembly line.
- Respond promptly to downtime incidents, including resolution, documentation, and escalation to higher authority as necessary.
- Evaluate equipment for signs of wear, leakage, corrosion, damage, contamination, cracks, loose screws, and abnormal noise or vibration, initiating corrective measures in collaboration with the Maintenance Planning team.
- Oversee the replacement of grease barrels, Loctite, oils, labels, and other necessary materials.
- Track First Pass Yield (FPY), reject rates, cycle time discrepancies, and brief technical interruptions; initiate improvements in partnership with the Technical Engineering Foundation (TEF) and Manufacturing Engineering (MFE).
- Provide extensive support for Maintenance Planning at GEMBA, working closely with the Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) team as a designated shift and line member, which includes documentation, marking positions, maintaining bowl feeders, and executing Preventive Maintenance tasks.
- Assist with technical training for the Maintenance Functional Organization (MFO) at the designated line, including Shiftbook documentation and understanding the Theory of Constraints.
- Ensure the accuracy of machine error codes, OPRA, MTS, and Shiftbook entries to facilitate effective technical improvements or troubleshooting.
- Support the Team Lead as necessary, including but not limited to changeovers, start-up and shutdown processes, tool changes, trial runs, adjustments, 5S improvements, bottleneck management, and escalations.
