Qualifications
Key Responsibilities:
Schedule Testing Operators and assign vehicles in collaboration with AV Testing Operations Fleet Coordinators and Managers.
Coordinate with AV Testing Operations to ensure the completion of daily and weekly testing activities.
Provide Testing Operators with up-to-date and accurate information regarding vehicle allocation and software requirements.
Review Development Tickets (DTs) for any discrepancies and safety concerns prior to scheduling.
Analyze and review DriveLogs in collaboration with the Triage Team where applicable.
Collect, track, and analyze trends essential for daily vehicle testing operations.
Lead specialized group projects, including high-level internal and external vehicle demonstrations.
Ensure the execution of daily operational safety protocols in accordance with Safety policies.
Conduct basic troubleshooting of AV systems and facilitate Quick Action Reporting in conjunction with Fleet Supervisors and Vehicle Integration Engineers.
Examine in-vehicle dash camera footage.
Participate in daily briefings via Zoom or in person.
Review weekly feedback submissions.
Provide coaching and professional development support for Testing Operators.
Conduct performance reviews and address any performance issues with appropriate interventions.
Authorize and manage time-off requests.
Complete additional assigned duties as required.

The AV Testing Operations Supervisor collaborates closely with Operations leadership to establish and execute optimal practices and protocols for Testing Operators. Acting as the primary liaison for Testing Operators, this role focuses on swiftly and effectively resolving any issues that may arise. Through strategic coordination with Engineering, Learning and Development, Safety, and Operations teams, the Supervisor ensures that all necessary resources are available for smooth daily operations.
In this position, the Supervisor is responsible for managing team members' time-off requests while minimizing disruption to testing operations, ensuring compliance with test scheduling protocols, and supervising the daily performance of Testing Operators. They address performance gaps by providing targeted coaching, managing attendance, and delivering constructive feedback to ensure alignment with company policies and departmental objectives. Regular bi-weekly check-ins and bi-annual/annual performance evaluations are conducted to foster team growth and development.
