About the Role
As a key member of our team, you will contribute to Customer Studio, Hightouch’s innovative no-code product designed to empower users of all skill levels to activate data directly from their warehouses. This product has become integral to the daily operations of marketing and growth teams, enabling them to create and analyze audiences and campaigns while enhancing our agentic marketing workflows. Your work will combine product-centric and customer-first approaches to solve complex challenges at high data scale, driving the reimagining of marketing in an AI-centric landscape.
We are looking for a product-oriented backend engineer who is adept at delving into backend and distributed systems, with a holistic perspective on architecture, scalability, maintainability, and reliability. The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong customer and product insight, and feel at ease with writing and engaging with product specifications.
Key challenges you will tackle include:
- Data Warehouse Performance: We continually push the boundaries of data warehouse capabilities in terms of speed and interactivity. You will explore general optimizations (e.g., refining queries, pre-computed states) and investigate specific enhancements.
- Analytics and Experimentation: How can Hightouch assist customers in building segments and selecting data for synchronization? You will facilitate experimentation with downstream tools, including tracking the performance of various audiences.
- Real-time Audience Activation: You will engage in the development of features that allow real-time audience activation, enhancing marketing effectiveness.
