About the job
Join our dedicated team at Centria Autism as a passionate Behavior Technician, where you will play a crucial role in transforming the lives of children with autism. This is an incredible opportunity to make a substantial impact in a child's life through individualized support.
In your role, you will provide one-on-one assistance to children, implementing tailored behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You will utilize evidence-based strategies to teach vital communication, social, and daily living skills, while effectively minimizing disruptive behaviors.
We seek individuals who are genuinely committed to helping children with autism achieve their fullest potential. Ideal candidates will possess patience, compassion, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative team setting. Comprehensive training will be provided to empower you in your role, so previous experience is not a prerequisite. However, you should be prepared for the physical demands of the job, which may include standing, walking, lifting, and carrying objects or children weighing up to 50 pounds.
At the end of each day, you will leave with the satisfaction of knowing that you have made a meaningful difference in the lives of children and their families. If you are ready to embark on a rewarding journey as a Behavior Technician, apply now!
