About the job
Are you passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of children with autism? Join our team as a Behavior Technician at Centria Autism! In this rewarding role, you will work directly with children, implementing tailored behavior intervention plans under the mentorship of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
Your responsibilities will include utilizing evidence-based techniques to foster communication, social interactions, and essential daily living skills while minimizing challenging behaviors. Your compassion and patience will be key in helping these children reach their fullest potential.
No prior experience? No problem! We provide comprehensive training to prepare you for success. However, be prepared for a dynamic environment where children may be unpredictable. Physical activity is a part of this role, so you should be comfortable with standing, walking, bending, and occasionally lifting or carrying items or children weighing up to 50 pounds.
At the end of each day, you will leave knowing that you have made a significant difference in a child's life and their family. Become a vital part of a dedicated team that is committed to transforming lives for the better. Apply today to embark on your journey as a Behavior Technician!
