About the job
Join our dedicated team at Centria Autism as a Behavior Technician and empower children with autism to thrive! This rewarding position allows you to work directly with children, implementing tailored behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
As a Behavior Technician, you will utilize evidence-based strategies to teach essential skills such as communication, social interactions, and daily living. Your compassion and patience will help reduce challenging behaviors and promote positive growth in each child.
No prior experience? No problem! We provide thorough training to equip you with the skills necessary to succeed. However, it is essential to be adaptable and physically fit, as your role may involve standing, walking, and occasionally lifting children or objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
At the end of each day, you will leave knowing you made a significant impact on a child's life and their family. If you are passionate about making a difference, we invite you to apply and become part of our transformative team!
