- Provide prompt and efficient handling of all guest luggage upon arrival, during their stay, and at departure, ensuring the safety and security of all items.
- Ensure every piece of luggage is tagged with a baggage claim identifier.
- Park vehicles of guests and visitors in designated hotel parking areas.
- Address guest complaints and requests, coordinating with relevant departments for immediate follow-up.
- Manage the issuance of guest room key cards, ensuring secure access for all guests.
- Report any unusual occurrences or requests to the Concierge desk.
- Stay informed about hotel accident prevention policies.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic environment at the Concierge Desk area.
- Keep accurate records and documentation as per operational and organizational standards.
- Oversee lobby paging services under the guidance of the Concierge.
- Practice suggestive selling techniques and familiarize guests with hotel facilities.
- Coordinate with the Front Office to safeguard payment of guest folios and manage the release of guest luggage upon departure.
- Escort guests to their rooms, providing explanations of hotel facilities and room features such as lighting, TV operation, safe, air conditioning, and fire exits.
- Ensure proper placement of luggage to facilitate guests' unpacking.
- Greet all guests upon arrival and departure, guiding each individual to their appropriate destinations.
- Review logbooks and verify pending items, identifying special assignments for the day.
- Check hotel occupancy, functions, groups, and VIP arrivals.
- File daily concierge desk reports and documents systematically under the direction of the Concierge.
- Deliver friendly and courteous service, responding promptly to all inquiries and requests from guests.
- At the end of each shift, communicate critical information to the oncoming shift for seamless operations.
- Maintain continuous contact with hotel guests to ensure any issues or complaints are handled efficiently and courteously.
- Ensure prompt and efficient delivery of messages, newspapers, parcels, and packages to guests, adhering to hotel policy. Arrange all guest transportation requests including limousine services, shuttle buses, and car rentals in coordination with our onsite rental agent.
- Handle phone calls at the Concierge desk.
- Review and update the logbook regularly.
- Check equipment for operational readiness.
- Maintain a smart appearance, being well-groomed and exuding a friendly and cheerful demeanor at all times.
- Oversee daily operations of the concierge desk.
- Regularly report on activities to the Assistant Front Office Manager or Front Office Manager.
- Be knowledgeable about fire and first aid procedures.
