Qualifications
Must be able to secure and maintain a U.S. DOE Q-level security clearance, requiring U.S. citizenship.Bachelor's or Associate degree in architecture, engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.A minimum of 5 years' experience in an architectural/engineering design office environment within the last 3 years.Proficiency in Revit and experience with other BIM-related software (e.g., Twin Motion, AVAIL, IDEATE, etc.).Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365 suite and Bluebeam Revu.In-depth knowledge of drafting practices, techniques, standards, and procedures for preparing multidisciplinary construction drawings or technical graphics, with a solid understanding of architectural or engineering principles.Highly dependable with an outstanding attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy.Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.

In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the development, coordination, and maintenance of Building Information Modeling (BIM) models and construction documents for various facility design projects. This position is particularly focused on BIM and design technology.
You will collaborate closely with architects and engineers, leveraging your expertise in building systems and construction practices to produce precise, coordinated, and multi-disciplinary drawings and 3D models. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while demonstrating exceptional attention to detail.
This role is situated within the Project Management Office (PMO), which provides LLNL with a comprehensive range of engineering, design, estimating, construction, demolition, and project management services. PMO plays a crucial role in supporting groundbreaking research and development across various fields such as defense technologies, global security, laser science, and biosciences. We prioritize safety, collaboration, and the delivery of high-quality completed projects.
