Role Overview
This internship is designed for advanced undergraduate or master's students, PhD candidates, or early postdoctoral researchers with expertise in fields related to blockchain systems, such as computer science, applied mathematics, cryptography, or economics. This role presents a fantastic opportunity for early-stage researchers to gain hands-on experience by collaborating with the IO Research team on pressing challenges within blockchain technology.
The intern will engage in a defined project tailored to their academic background and skills, aligned with the research priorities at Input Output. A supervisor from the IO Research team will guide the intern, helping to set project objectives, monitor progress, and ensure alignment with IO's broader research initiatives.
This internship will last up to 3 months, ideally during the summer of 2026, though alternative schedules may be accommodated.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting in-depth research related to the Internship Project.
- Collaborating with the supervisor and potentially other IO Research team members working on related topics.
- Participating in occasional meetings with product team members as needed.
- Preparing a comprehensive final report that summarizes the research work and achievements during the internship.
