We are currently seeking a motivated Blow Mold Set Up Technician for our night shift. This key role involves setting up machinery and auxiliary equipment to produce plastic components in the Blow Molding and Injection Molding processes for cooler products, ensuring compliance with company standards and goals.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Efficiently hang molds and set up auxiliary equipment, adhering to approved procedures to maintain a safe and productive work environment.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols, promptly reporting accidents, hazards, near misses, and property damage.
- Timely mold setup as guided by management.
- Operate cranes for mold replacement and forklifts for mold transportation.
- Maintain up-to-date forklift training and certification as required.
- Complete necessary paperwork accurately.
- Monitor and control assigned processes, ensuring adherence to specifications.
- Collaborate with Methods, Tooling, and Maintenance teams to resolve technical issues related to assigned processes.
- Verify tools, instructions, and materials prior to use.
- Promote workplace safety, quality, and environmental awareness.
- Conduct process verification prior to job commencement.
