About the job
Are you prepared to launch your career by developing innovative infrastructure and safeguarding coastal regions against climate change? Join the Dredging track of the Boskalis Traineeship!
With our vast fleet of specialized dredgers, we lead the way in creating infrastructure and new land globally, propelling economic development and facilitating international trade. You will have the chance to contribute to the construction of new ports, the maintenance of vital waterways, and the expansion of existing terminals.
Alongside fostering economic growth, we are dedicated to tackling the challenges posed by climate change. Through our coastal defense and riverbank protection initiatives, we assist in protecting nations and communities from rising sea levels and increasingly severe weather events. Your contributions can truly make a difference!
What Awaits You
- As a Trainee, you will engage in a variety of unique projects that set the industry standard. You may participate in the tendering, engineering, or operational phases of a dredging project.
- Some examples of our ongoing or past projects include land reclamation for Pasay Harbor City (Philippines) and Finger Pier 3 (Singapore). Another significant project involves preparing the seabed for the construction of the Yunlin offshore wind farm (Taiwan).
- Typically, you will undertake one assignment at our headquarters in Papendrecht and one assignment at a project site abroad. This means working on-site for six weeks, followed by four weeks of leave.
The Program
Throughout your assignments, you will have ample opportunity for personal development, supported by top-notch coaches and mentors. The program is filled with personal development courses, safety training, and specific courses relevant to your track. Together with your fellow trainees and mentors, you will set personal development goals and work towards them during and in between your assignments, building a robust international network in a short time.
