Purpose
The Brand Manager will spearhead the understanding of patient experience insights across the Brand and In-Field Team. This role involves developing the Patient Journey to ensure the Brand Team is aligned with patient-centric strategies, including Close Loop Marketing engagement, while adhering to AbbVie's business code of conduct, policies, and all relevant laws and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with the Brand Team and In-Field Team members, facilitating discussions with both Healthcare Professional (HCP) and non-HCP stakeholders to synthesize insights for identifying target segments, establishing brand positioning, driving Close Loop Marketing engagement, and contributing to the Brand Plan Insights Chapter.
- Collect input and perspectives from cross-stakeholders to create a comprehensive Patient Journey; propose strategic objectives for Brand Team review based on these insights, and critically assess Brand Team strategies to ensure they remain patient-centric.
- Guarantee all functional outputs are consistent with brand messaging and effectively convey emotional narratives aligned with the Brand Story.
- Lead the design and execution of all marketing initiatives, incorporating innovative marketing tactics, traditional and non-traditional partnerships, multi-channel opportunities, and multi-stakeholder initiatives to achieve strategic brand goals.
- Ensure alignment of all in-field materials, strategies, and tactics to maintain momentum towards strategic brand objectives.
- Oversee the development of marketing contributions to the Strategic Brand Plan, consolidate the one-year Tactical Brand Plan, and coordinate the Long Range Plan's preparation to drive brand success.
- Guide, mentor, and coach direct reports (if applicable), forecast and monitor brand KPIs, manage budget and brand P&L (if applicable), and track ROI metrics for all marketing activities to meet or exceed brand plan objectives.
- As Brand Team Leader (if applicable):
• Lead the Brand Team towards a shared vision and objectives.
• Ensure all Brand Team Members are engaged in the Brand strategy development process aligned with the Global Brand Team's strategy, ensuring adequate involvement from relevant functions. - • Foster collaboration and team spirit among Brand Team members.
• Take accountability for all Brand Team activities and processes, including organizing, chairing, and facilitating Brand Team meetings.
