Qualifications:To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on structural engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.7 to 10 years of relevant experience in bridge engineering.Possession of an EIT certificate (or the ability to obtain one within 12 months); a PE license is advantageous.Proficiency in software applications such as MicroStation, OpenBridge Modeler, AASHTOware, AutoCAD, and MathCAD.Experience with VDOT and local government projects, including familiarity with their design software.Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete and steel design.Excellent communication and organizational skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.).A collaborative spirit and eagerness to work in a team-oriented environment.
