As a Browser Infrastructure Engineer at Perplexity, you will play a pivotal role in designing and maintaining robust, automated, and scalable infrastructure tailored for our Chromium-based browser teams. Your primary focus will be on enhancing CI/CD pipelines, monitoring systems, and development environments that fuel rapid browser advancements.
Key Responsibilities
Establish and manage CI/CD pipelines for builds and testing utilizing tools like TeamCity and Jenkins.
Advance the development infrastructure for Chromium browsers using Kubernetes, Terraform, and Ansible.
Implement and configure monitoring and alerting systems such as Sentry and Datadog.
Oversee cloud infrastructure management (AWS), Linux servers, and virtual environments.
Craft automation scripts using Bash, Python, and Go to streamline processes.
Guarantee high availability, resilience, and security of the development infrastructure.
Collaborate with developers to enhance workflows and troubleshoot incidents efficiently.
Qualifications
A minimum of 3 years of experience in software development infrastructure, particularly with Chromium browsers.
Hands-on experience in DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering, focusing on monitoring and incident management.
Expertise in Kubernetes, Terraform, Datadog, Sentry, AWS, Unix, and TeamCity.
Proven skills in implementing CI/CD processes effectively.
Ability to excel in Agile environments with excellent communication skills.
