The Role
In your role as a Building Engineer at Cambio, you will be pivotal in partnering with our customers to implement their net-zero building sustainability strategies. Collaborating closely with our Data Science team, you will utilize our advanced decarbonization machine learning models to analyze and deliver top-tier energy-saving retrofit recommendations tailored to our customers' properties. Your knowledge in building science and engineering will ensure that our model-recommended solutions are not only effective and practical but also adhere to industry standards, ultimately enhancing the capabilities of our automated decarbonization platform.
What You Will Be Doing
Building Retrofit Analytics: Leverage Cambio’s state-of-the-art machine learning models to produce energy conservation strategies at scale for our real estate clients.
Customer Collaboration: Engage closely with commercial real estate owners to assess their needs and craft their pathways toward achieving net-zero across their portfolios.
Compliance and Regulatory Analysis: Support the execution of retrofit projects that comply with local, state, and federal regulations while enhancing Cambio’s automated regulatory analytics.
Performance Monitoring: Oversee the outcomes of retrofitted buildings by analyzing pre- and post-retrofit energy performance, cost savings, and carbon impacts to optimize Cambio’s benefits for clients.
Data Science Collaboration: Collaborate with our Data Science team to refine and expand the physics-based building science models that underpin the Cambio decarbonization platform, integrating data from building science datasets to enhance accuracy and efficacy.
