BESIX Watpac is on the lookout for a dynamic Building Services Engineer to orchestrate and oversee both design and on-site engineering activities for building services, ensuring that projects are completed within the designated timelines and budgets.
Key responsibilities include:
- Engaging in design management for building services encompassing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and fire systems to guarantee compliance with specifications, cost constraints, and construction schedules.
- Collaborating with building services engineering consultants and subcontractors as needed.
- Working closely with the Contracts Administrator to identify potential cost savings and assist in product selection and problem resolution to maximize value.
- Reviewing documentation to ensure adequacy in design input.
- Monitoring the production of workshop drawings and as-built documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Overseeing construction progress and quality of plant installations on-site, ensuring adherence to quality control, engineering, and safety standards.
- Participating in project handover and commissioning processes, including final documentation submission, as-built documents, authority approvals, warranties, training, and guarantees.
