As a Business Continuity Management (BCM) Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping, executing, and sustaining Business Continuity (BC) and Disaster Recovery (DR) initiatives for our Data Centre operations. This position demands a forward-thinking professional adept at identifying risks, formulating effective response strategies, and engaging with diverse teams to bolster the organization’s resilience against potential disruptions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and oversee Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery frameworks and infrastructure services that adhere to BCM standards and best practices.
- Lead and mentor the support team members essential for the successful delivery of services.
- Manage adjustments to project scope and timelines to ensure customer satisfaction and service quality.
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of clients’ business environments and challenges, applying insights to address their issues effectively.
- Utilize diverse information-gathering methods and tools, such as focus groups, structured interviews, questionnaires, surveys, and statistical analysis, to collect relevant data.
- Analyze information to detect trends and issues, identify root causes, and employ structured approaches to generate innovative solutions, making well-founded recommendations.
- Draft clear and insightful reports and communications that highlight the value delivered to customers.
- Maintain strong customer relationships throughout project delivery using effective governance and communication skills.
- Provide pre-sales support for Requests For Proposals, including estimating delivery costs, crafting proposals, and customizing responses for bid inquiries.
- Ensure all customer projects are executed to the highest quality standards and meet customer expectations.
- Oversee the maintenance of Recovery Centre certifications and audit requirements.
