As a Business Development Manager at AvidXchange, you will play a pivotal role in driving our sales initiatives. Your primary responsibilities will encompass leading a team of Business Development Representatives (BDRs) to cultivate qualified sales opportunities, providing training and mentorship to enhance team performance, and managing operational tasks to enable your team to exceed their goals. Collaborating closely with the Learning and Development team and the Director of Market Outreach and Development, you will ensure the successful onboarding and continuous improvement of new BDRs. This position reports to the Senior Manager of Business Development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guide the BDR team in identifying, reaching out to, and generating qualified leads.
- Evaluate daily, weekly, and monthly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to drive business-to-business sales growth.
- Provide ongoing coaching and feedback during regular one-on-one sessions to enhance BDR performance and skills.
- Strategically plan for the recruitment and onboarding of new BDRs.
- Drive performance and productivity through goal setting, problem-solving, and identifying market trends.
- Collaborate regularly with the Demand Generation and Sales teams to optimize results.
