Join Convera, a global leader in commercial payments, as a Business Development Manager in our Singapore office. We empower international business by facilitating seamless money transfers. In this pivotal role, you will spearhead the sales of complex products, hedging solutions, and foreign exchange (FX) offerings across the APAC region.
We seek driven, motivated professionals with a competitive spirit to cultivate a robust pipeline of corporate clients—ranging from import/export businesses to multinational corporations, universities, and NGOs. Your mission will be to address their international payment and hedging needs while driving new business revenue.
- Utilize your comprehensive understanding of Convera’s value proposition to attract new clients for our B2B segment.
- Meet and exceed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to revenue targets, reporting weekly, monthly, and quarterly to track progress in generating new business through payment and hedging solutions.
- Proactively identify new business opportunities through cold calls, networking events, referrals, exhibitions, and strategic partnerships.
- Employ sales tools including Salesforce, Highspot, and ZoomInfo to generate leads and create new sales opportunities.
- Oversee the sales cycle until client onboarding, after which you will transition clients to the account management team.
- Introduce clients to relevant support functions such as Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Corporate Hedging Manager (CHM), and/or Sales Leaders/Heads of Desk.
- Engage with clients from startup founders to C-suite executives of targeted corporations.
- Maintain meticulous records of all relevant Salesforce.com (SFDC) documentation, including sales diaries and next steps for prospects.
- Conduct market analyses and participate in industry events to stay informed.
- This role offers a hybrid work environment, allowing you to split your time between working from home and our state-of-the-art office located in central Singapore (Robinson Road).
