Business Development Manager – Sustainable Packaging
Location: Milton Keynes / M4 Corridor / South of Birmingham (Field-Based)
Salary: £50,000–£55,000 + £5,000 Car Allowance + Commission (OTE c.£20k) + Benefits

What Does the Role Entail?
In this field-based role, you will manage a designated territory in the South, concentrating on both generating new business and enhancing existing client relationships. This position offers considerable autonomy, making it perfect for someone skilled in consultative selling and technical product demonstrations.
Your contributions will directly influence the company's growth, supported by internal resources in sales operations and marketing.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within your territory
- Manage and expand an existing client portfolio
- Conduct on-site product demonstrations of packaging machinery
- Develop customized solutions tailored to client needs
- Build long-term relationships with end-users and distributors
- Maintain accurate CRM records
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities
- Work collaboratively for seamless client onboarding and success
- Manage your sales pipeline, appointments, and weekly activities, including KPIs for meetings
Who Are You?
You will excel in this role if you:
- Have a proven track record in new business development, preferably in consumables, packaging, or product sales
- Enjoy working autonomously, achieving targets, and building your own sales pipeline
- Are confident in presenting technical products in a consultative manner
- Can physically transport and demonstrate equipment
- Are able to commit to visiting the Andover office one day per week
