Role Responsibilities
As Canva continues to grow, change is part of our DNA, and we embrace it with enthusiasm. While the specifics of your responsibilities may evolve, here’s a snapshot of what you will be doing:
- Collaborate closely with the Sales and Success teams to identify and capitalize on strategic pipeline opportunities while generating demand.
- Develop a robust sales pipeline through cold outreach techniques, including calling, emailing, and leveraging social media.
- Acquire comprehensive knowledge of Canva’s technologies, target markets, accounts, competitors, and industry trends.
- Engage cross-functionally with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure effective execution of business development strategies.
- Learn and apply strategies that align Canva’s solutions with customer challenges and organizational objectives.
- Utilize tools such as Salesforce, Pocus, Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Gong, and other resources to maintain pipeline generation and hygiene.
- Meet and exceed key performance metrics on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.

- A proven track record of identifying and executing partnerships that enhance revenue growth.
- Outstanding communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized with excellent time management abilities.
- Goal-oriented, capable of achieving individual targets while also thriving in a team setting.
- Experience in cold outreach, including account planning, pre-call preparation, opportunity qualification, and objection resolution.
- Familiarity with Salesforce and outreach tools, as well as experience in cold calling.
