About the Role:
The Business Development Representative (BDR) team is instrumental in generating new business opportunities during the initial sales phases. BDRs focus on outbound prospecting and establishing meaningful relationships with potential customers to identify their needs and facilitate a seamless transition to the sales team. Collaboration with various departments ensures our offerings align with customer expectations. As a Business Development Representative, you will thrive in fast-paced scenarios, energized by learning about our diverse product range.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build the sales pipeline through personalized outreach to prospective customers.
- Engage in prospecting, generating, qualifying, processing leads, and setting appointments for the sales team.
- Create templates and best practices for effective sales workflows with outbound prospects.
- Cultivate relationships with prospects to identify their needs, including goals, plans, challenges, and purchasing timelines, ensuring a smooth transition to the sales team.
- Follow up with interested prospects who haven’t yet converted to sales opportunities.
- Efficiently manage lead lists, consistently updating activity and CRM data to exceed service level agreements (SLAs).
- Provide valuable feedback to the Marketing team to enhance targeting and messaging.
