Join the dynamic Business Development team at GOAT Group, where we are committed to enhancing supply growth within our marketplace. We are seeking a product-centric, analytical associate who can support our supply initiatives across diverse sourcing channels. This exciting role combines the analysis of data to uncover insights and the application of AI and other innovative tools to refine processes and drive impactful actions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Track and analyze performance against critical metrics such as liquidity, active quantity, pricing, and engagement, identifying trends, opportunities, and risks to share with stakeholders.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of sales, stock levels, and orders at the style/color/size level, providing recommendations for style selection, unit allocation, and pricing strategies that optimize revenue while ensuring profitability.
- Stay informed on product trends across various categories and perform competitive intelligence research to identify emerging opportunities, thereby maintaining a top-tier product assortment.
- Monitor active supply metrics to ensure our marketplace supply aligns with anticipated demand, tracking initiatives like SKU-based incentives to evaluate opportunity recapture.
- Assess current reporting methods and actively seek ways to enhance performance tracking.
- Assist with various projects and tasks as assigned by the manager and other key stakeholders.
- Create and optimize workflows using templates and AI tools across our systems.
Qualifications:
- 2-4 years of experience in an analytical role (such as planning, buying, supply chain, e-commerce, or a related field; experience in fashion and footwear is a plus).
- Solid understanding of retail mathematics and e-commerce metrics.
- A genuine passion for products and trends across various categories.
- Proficiency in SQL and Excel.
- Comfortable utilizing AI tools.
- Strong ability to transition from data analysis to actionable decisions while managing multiple projects independently.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a proactive ownership mindset.
- Strong research skills, with the ability to gather and organize data to deliver actionable recommendations.
- A scrappy, resourceful approach coupled with a strong work ethic.
- Bonus: Familiarity with BI tools (Looker, Tableau), Python, or inventory planning.
