George P. Johnson (GPJ) is seeking a talented CAD Administrator/Designer to enhance our Live Production team. This hybrid role will require you to be onsite in one of our vibrant offices at least two days a week, with locations in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Austin, Nashville, Detroit, Boston, New York City, or Las Vegas.
Your Responsibilities
Leverage your exceptional Vectorworks Spotlight expertise and your background in theatrical, set, and scenic design to craft detailed plans and elevations for a diverse array of live event projects, including keynote stage designs for conferences, large-scale public festivals, auto shows, and specialized industry events.
Your Qualifications
- Expert-level proficiency in Vectorworks Spotlight.
- Ability to create 2D/3D drawings including Front, Elevations, Sections, and Isometric views.
- Ability to create and edit Titleblocks, utilize and develop Records and Worksheets, create 3D models, manage Classes and Layers, import-export DWG files, and employ Rendering tools for visualization.
- Familiarity with Cinema 4D and/or Light Converse is advantageous.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with the ability to handle pressure.
- Capable of working efficiently under tight turnaround times across multiple curated projects.
- Skilled in establishing effective workflow protocols and adaptable to new processes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather necessary information for accurate project execution.
