Qualifications
Key Responsibilities:Develop and enhance machining strategies, including sequencing, tooling, fixtures, and in-process controls.Program intricate components using HyperMill for 5-axis milling and CNC turning.Validate parts on various CNC machines, ensuring adherence to tolerances and surface finishes.Manufacture gas and propellant valve components and precision assemblies, including Inconel structures while setting up origins and preparing cutting tools.Perform first-level maintenance to ensure optimal machine functionality.Analyze and refine toolpaths to minimize cycle times and enhance machining quality.Collaborate with design, quality, and production teams for feedback, design proposals, and troubleshooting.Lead initiatives for equipment investments, including specifications, supplier coordination, and commissioning.Desired Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a highly experienced technician (5+ years) in CNC/CAM for complex parts.Proficiency in HyperMill or similar CAM software and experience in tight-tolerance machining.Strong understanding of 5-axis milling and/or precision turning.Familiarity with aerospace materials such as Inconel, titanium, and high-performance alloys.
