As the Camp Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that both academic and co-curricular programs at our camp uphold ALPADIA’s exceptional standards. You will also be responsible for implementing quality welfare arrangements for our students while exemplifying leadership for the staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Staff Management: Effectively manage and support all staff members to ensure they contribute to a high-quality program aligned with Alpadia’s course objectives. Conduct daily meetings to enhance performance and communication, assist in staff training and induction, and support the regional manager in performance management processes.
- Student Management: Safeguard the well-being of all students in your care. Act as the Designated Safeguarding Staff, ensuring that all students are treated with respect and can fully participate in all aspects of Alpadia’s programs. Take overall responsibility for student behavior and discipline at the camp.
- Language Program: Collaborate with the Academic Manager to oversee all teaching staff and ensure that Alpadia’s language program delivers enjoyable and enriching experiences for all students through high-quality courses.
- Activities Program: Work alongside the Activity Manager to manage all activity leaders, ensuring that Alpadia’s activities are well-prepared and delivered, offering a fulfilling Multi-activity, Premium, Evening, and Excursion program for all students.
- Welfare and Health & Safety: Ensure that safeguarding and health and safety policies are fully understood and implemented. Manage all staff, including the Night-time Supervisor, to maintain high-quality welfare provisions, enabling students to enjoy their camp experience in a safe and inclusive environment. Respond to emergencies that may jeopardize student and staff safety and/or Alpadia’s reputation.
- Communication: Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders in our camps, ensuring all important information is conveyed efficiently.
