Job Overview
As a Capital Markets Counsel, you will play a crucial role in driving the expansion of our revenue-generating markets businesses within the United States. In this impactful position, you will provide strategic legal counsel on all facets of digital asset market making, over-the-counter (OTC) transactions, derivatives, capital markets, and prime brokerage. You will collaborate across various teams, including Product, Markets, Risk, Operations, and Compliance, to facilitate new product development, ensure adherence to regulatory standards, and mitigate legal risks in a fast-paced and evolving marketplace.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the business development and trading teams by offering guidance on customer transactions, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a diverse range of agreements related to FalconX’s core business activities.
- Possess in-depth knowledge of capital markets, derivatives, equities, and prime brokerage.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on product development and evaluate the legal complexities of potential service offerings.
- Lead legal and commercial negotiations: Draft and negotiate agreements pertinent to our business lines (OTC, liquidity provision, derivatives documentation, and trading agreements).
- Provide general support to the Markets and Products Legal team.
