Join AbbVie as a Capital Project Engineer, where your engineering expertise will drive the success of our capital projects. You will leverage scientific principles, engineering acumen, and innovative thinking to manage projects from initiation through completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and execute small to medium-sized capital projects across various engineering disciplines, ensuring all phases from scope development to financial closeout are effectively managed.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet all functional, regulatory, and engineering standards.
- Track project progress against plans, implementing necessary adjustments to adhere to commitments.
- Lead the design and procurement processes for process equipment and facilities, including developing specifications and participating in acceptance testing.
- Facilitate the commissioning and qualification of equipment, preparing necessary documentation and protocols.
- Provide troubleshooting support to manufacturing operations, conducting root cause analyses and recommending corrective actions.
- Work collaboratively to uphold AbbVie’s quality and safety standards and contribute to environmental, health, and safety initiatives.
- Mentor junior engineers and technicians, guiding them through project tasks and engineering documentation.
