Currently, Zelh is seeking a dynamic Carrier Marketplace Solutions - Operations Representative to join our team and support one of our esteemed clients.
As a Carrier Sales Representative, you will be instrumental in sourcing, negotiating, and securing carriers for available freight efficiently and profitably. Your role will involve managing digital bookings and engaging with unowned carriers or carriers primarily utilizing the client’s carrier portal.
Our goal is to streamline logistics through collaboration, transparency, and advanced technology, ensuring we meet the essential needs of freight forwarders.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle primarily inbound operations (approximately 90%), including load booking and post-booking shipment tracking.
Facilitate digital bookings and negotiate rates with unowned carriers or those interacting mainly via EchoDrive, the client’s carrier portal.
Prioritize and service the client’s customers and carriers promptly and professionally.
Collaborate closely with high-volume Sales Representatives to support daily freight operations.
Maintain accurate updates, tracking, and documentation of shipment statuses in internal systems.
Contact carriers for time-sensitive information and ensure systems are updated appropriately.
Oversee team inboxes and respond to internal Client Sales requests and external carrier inquiries.
Proactively communicate issues and escalations to relevant stakeholders to ensure swift and effective resolution.
Perform Track & Trace functions for assigned Carrier Sales Representatives, ensuring on-time performance and resolving in-transit issues as per SOPs.
Exhibit a strong team-player attitude, positive demeanor, and eagerness to expand knowledge within the transportation industry.
