Qualifications
To qualify for this position, candidates must meet one of the following criteria:A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university paired with two years of full-time experience in public health education, program development, or counseling.A master's degree from an accredited institution in public health education or related fields, accompanied by one year of relevant experience.Additionally, you must be a permanent employee in the title or reachable on the Civil Service list for Public Health Educator.

As a vital part of the joint Program with the Department of Education, the OSH is dedicated to promoting the health and well-being of over 1.3 million students across 1,800 public and non-public schools. Our mission is to provide comprehensive health services to ensure that all students are healthy and ready to learn.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing chronic health issues, conducting preventive screenings, and facilitating urgent care and health education for students and their families. You will collaborate closely with OSH physicians, nurses, and community organizations to coordinate care and support.
